A Proverbs 31 woman... And her Boaz.

Proverbs 31 Woman.

In this day and age there are so many divorced people. Christian Men and Women are no different. And in a time when it is difficult to find WHO God has for you in a partner after divorce reading this passage as a 'single' woman stirs up emotions in my soul. If you were all this in your marriage and still found yourself in divorce it does not mean you are unable to be this woman still or from now on. Being courted by 'single' men can be difficult. It often feels like you are on a constant interview and if one thing is wrong with you. .well you no longer exist.  I have found this process to be exhausting and frankly heart breaking. 

 Transparency is key. Allowing the other person to look deeply into your soul can push on your trust buttons. Being upfront and honest in all things is very very important. From your walk. What you want in the future. And what they want. Can you pray together? Can you talk about God together?

If they profess to love Jesus Christ this should not be an issue.

 If it is.. He is not your Boaz. She is not your Ruth. 

So to all those in my position. Read thru Proverbs 31 and Ruth and pray for your future spouse that God has in store for you. Don't settle for less. Listen to God. Listen to the Holy Spirit. And you will not come up empty. The Lord Loves to give good gifts to His Children.

A rewrite of Proverbs 31 with Boaz in mind. 

I - Love the Lord with All my heart mind soul and strength.

 My Boaz is worthy in the eyes of the Lord. He knows him.

I am virtuous and capable.

 My Boaz is a man of integrity.

I am precious not only to God but to the one. He will see I am a treasure.

I am trustworthy. My words and actions are in line.

My Boaz is Compassionate.

I take care of my household. My children. Feeding them, Clothing them.

My Boaz. He will be blessed. 

I am a hard worker in my job. Always going above and beyond even when I may not like my compensation. I still do it with Joy.

My Boaz. He will love my work ethic. He will encourage me and strengthen me as the Lord. Because My Boaz is Observant.

I am sold out to the Lord and believe what He said.. "Jesus said Love" I whole heartedly give to others.

My Boaz will want me to partner with him and he with me in serving others.

I am resourceful, making much from little, and I do not have a lazy spirit.

My Boaz is a Provider. He will be blessed. 

I am the daughter of the King. A Princess. An Angel. I have exceeding amounts of Joy, Love, Patience and Kindness. I am a rare woman, not easily compared to. 

I let God's word transform me to be more like Jesus. 

My Boaz will see this woman of God as a GIFT that is almost equal to his salvation.

Oh yes. And My Boaz is my gift from God and a treasure almost equal to my salvation as well. 

My Boaz is a Protector. 

My children are  gifts from God. Given to me to show them the ways of the Lord.

I can recognize what is important and priorities easily for my family. My Boaz will be pleased. 

I am a woman who fears the Lord and He is greatly pleased with me.  

I will see my reward in Heaven when I meet my Savior face to face.  

I will see my reward here in the lives of my family and in my ministry.

 I will see my reward in the eyes of My Boaz. 

Reckless Love. Thank you God. For loving me more than anyone can.
