I hope you dance.

The Lord’s Chosen Servant
42 Behold my servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen, in whom my soul delights;
I have put my Spirit upon him;
he will bring forth justice to the nations.

 He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice,
or make it heard in the street;

a bruised reed he will not break,
and a faintly burning wick he will not quench;
he will faithfully bring forth justice.

 He will not grow faint or be discouraged
till he has established justice in the earth;
and the coastlands wait for his law.

  Thus says God, the Lord,
who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and what comes from it,
who gives breath to the people on it
and spirit to those who walk in it:

 “I am the LordoI have called you in righteousness;
I will take you by the hand and keep you;
I will give you as a covenant for the people,
a light for the nations

The Messiah was, said in Isaiah 42, to be the Light for the nations of the world. This is a bold prophecy of the coming Savior. The old testament has 42 prophecies of Christ's coming. And Jesus, Our Lord fulfilled them all! Isaiah 42 from verse 1 through verse 6 speaks about Jesus and what He is, what He will go through and God's promise to us.  God's spirit in the form of a dove rest upon Jesus as the messenger to hail him in baptized him. He would be bruised but not broken. He will not let us down. He will be the Light to a dark world.

Jesus went to the cross to save us all. He laid down His life to give us life. When we go through the troubles that this life brings instead of cowering in the corner or allowing the trouble to get the best of us we should trust Jesus. Step out into the storm. And trust in Him. Dance in the storm with Him by our side. Seek His lessons in the trials. Boldly come to Him with the troubles. Knowing deep within us we will see the light at the end of the tunnel. We will get through it with His Grace and His Mercy. We can do all things through Christ. We lack Nothing. We need only to have the faith the size of a mustard seed.  Dance in the storm my friends. Dance in the arms of our Savior. Who calms the storm. Who says Peace be still. Who calls us out of the boat to walk on the water.
Be at peace Child of God. And boldly step up on the feet of Jesus and let Him lead the dance.

I will give You all the praise even for the hard stuff.

We praise God for the good that happens in our life. Blessings. New jobs. Raise at work. Financial blessing. Health. Kids health. We are quick to give thanks for the good times. Proclaim our blessings from the rooftop of the GOODNESS of our God. And RIGHTLY SO!

What happens in the bad? I for one pray more. Seem more desperate for answers and understanding. Looking for relief from what ever it is that has pained me to the point that I need to be praying for deliverance. And send it NOW Lord. Help me in my grief. Heal my heart. Make it so quickly. Deliver me. As fast as you can.

I beg you to walk with me a moment.  We all go thru trials. Pain. Bad times. Hard times. Loss. GREAT loss. And we can not wait for the pain to be over. For the healing to be made complete.
Do we praise God in the middle of the storm? Do we thank God for such horrible things happening in our lives? We grow in the hard times. Like it or not. We are more likely to have an intimate relationship with God during times of difficulty. When is the last time you thanked God for the storm? What you learned in the storm? What He revealed? What growth you experienced? How He spoke? How you watched in front of your eyes the healing power of Jesus. I don't like storms when I am in the middle of them. I don't get excited.

In one of the most difficult storms of my life. I can recount the times God reminded me. I am with you. Where He whispered in my ear, Come this way my Beloved. Rest here my Precious. I will never leave you my child. You are mine.
And in that time. I thanked Him for who He was. And how He led me. But did I thank Him for the trial itself??  "Thank you Lord for trusting me, my character and my ability to rely on You in such a devastating point in my life. I can't wait to see what You do. And how I am going to glorify You in this situation. How You are going to grow me. And mold me to be more like You."

Beloved. Redeem EVERY opportunity to praise God. To rest in His word. To trust in His loving kindness. YOU have been redeemed for a purpose. Walk into that place. His holy place.

Psalm 34

I will praise the Lord at all times.
    I will constantly speak his praises.
 I will boast only in the Lord;
    let all who are helpless take heart.
 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness;
    let us exalt his name together.
 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.
    He freed me from all my fears.
 Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
    no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
 In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
    he saved me from all my troubles.
 For the angel of the Lord is a guard;
    he surrounds and defends all who fear him.
 Taste and see that the Lord is good.
    Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
 Fear the Lord, you his godly people,
    for those who fear him will have all they need.
 Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry,
    but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.
 Come, my children, and listen to me,
    and I will teach you to fear the Lord.
 Does anyone want to live a life
    that is long and prosperous?
 Then keep your tongue from speaking evil
    and your lips from telling lies!
 Turn away from evil and do good.
    Search for peace, and work to maintain it.
 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right;
    his ears are open to their cries for help.
 But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil;
    he will erase their memory from the earth.
 The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help.
    He rescues them from all their troubles.
 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;
    he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
 The righteous person faces many troubles,
    but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
 For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous;
    not one of them is broken!
 Calamity will surely destroy the wicked,
    and those who hate the righteous will be punished.
 But the Lord will redeem those who serve him.
    No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
