Wait for Me.

As for me, I look to the Lord for help.

    I wait confidently for God to save me,

    and my God will certainly hear me. Micah 7:7

For all the things we wait on God for:

Healing

Strength

Wisdom

Grace

Mercy

Food

Children

Parents

Shelter

Refuge

Peace

and so much more. Sometimes we have to wait. Wait on the temporal needs to be met. Continue to wait on the Spiritual needs to be increased. Wait on the eternal process to be complete. What is our attitudes in the waiting? Are we waiting expectantly with Joy of what the Lord will do? Or do we wait anxiously, impatiently and fearfully? Sometimes our attitude while we are waiting is the biggest growth for us. We are exercising our Faith. We are showing those around us HOW to wait on the Lord and HOW to do it with a thankful heart.  Continue to 'knock' on the door and asking. Jesus himself told us this in Matthew 7. Our perseverance will grow. It will mature as James says in chapter one. We should also check our motives. Check pride at that door. Double mindedness has no room. Envy is to be shut out. A pure heart focused on God and waiting for Him to do great things! 

Wait on the Lord. His plan is perfect. His way is eternal. And HIS Grace is sufficient. 

Share your waiting. Pray with one another. Lift one another up. There is no pray to big or too small for our Mighty God, our Father. Who loves to give good gifts to His Children.
