1 John 4:1-21

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Poor Morgan LeFay

R.I.P.
Here lies Morgan LeFay.
She did not know what to say.
She says she tries to complete or her stuff
But her teachers are just way way to rough
So she just waits and waits to turn in her work
I am sure she thinks her mom is a jerk
B/c she is grounded until the coming of Christ
Or until those numbers reach new heights
For even though she can read all night
Her biology and geography is no where in site!
But will change you can bet your last dollar
B/c I don't care how much she hoops and hollers
She will bring home her work before the sun goes down
I am sure you will think I am a hound
For making her face the fact
We are not going to put up with our daughters laxed!

Dear Sweet Jon Ryan

R.I.P.
Here Lies Jonathan Ry-an
He always is just a ly-in'
About the work he has to do.
He thinks his daddy don't have a clue
He had lunch detention due to his lack
And just wishes that teacher would give him some slack
Although he has time to sit and frenzy long
He will not see that wii until his hair is gone
No matter how hard he tries and how long he cries
He will not see the sun before he dies
B/c the mean old momma has let the hammer fall
The homework will be done before I have to call
All those teachers in to one room
And they can tell me all doom and gloom
Just bring home your work so you don't get in trouble
Get your back up straight before the grounding is double!

"Death Cannot Kill What Never Dies"

Tea Party Speech....

Do you feel like we are in the 60's again. Except instead of FREE love and No war we are on the opposite side of the fence?!?

I got this from my extreme right wing dad. HA. Who normally I won't talk politics with. But lately ...although extreme..he is making some sense.

This is long but worth the read!

I share this because it is important that we know and understand what is happening to our great nation, which is currently going under.

Please read carefully..

TEA Party in Lubbock,TX At the TEA PARTY, Dr. Donald May, (an 'African American') delivered this message from the courthouse steps in Lubbock. He electrified the audience like I haven't seen in a long time. His delivery was masterful. I am sorry you could not see him in action. Anyway, I thought you might enjoy his words. The news media was there, but not one word of this man's appearance ever appeared on TV or in print, even though he completely dominated the scene.

This is A Time For Courage
April 15, 2009 - 11:49 pm

Ladies and gentlemen, This is a Time For Courage. We are gathered here today on the Plains of West Texas in common purpose. We are here to remind our government that this is our country. We the People are still in charge, and our government is still our servant and not our master.
Our Nation's founding document is The Declaration of Independence ... It tells us that our rights come from God and not from a small group of Elite men and women.
Our Constitution starts with the words "We the People." Our Constitution was written for ordinary Americans like you and me. Our Constitution protects us from our government and from the politicians.
Our President has complained that our Constitution gives ordinary people too much protection. He has ridiculed us for the high value we place on our Bibles, our guns, our personal property, and our Liberty .. He tells us we do not deserve to keep the money we haveearned. We are told freedom has not worked. Personal responsibility, free enterprise, and Liberty have not been effective. Our government will now make more of our decisions for us. Other than our military, I can think of not one government agency I have ever found to be helpful. And speaking of our military, how about those Navy Seals blowing the heads off those three terrorist pirates? Don't you just wish our entire government would function with such efficiency, professionalism, and courage?
We watch in disbelief as our beloved United States is weakened economically, militarily, and morally by a Radical President and his eager accomplices. What has taken generations to build is systematically destroyed and replaced with the same Socialist Evil that brought poverty, destruction, and despair to untold hundreds of millions. The problems we face today have occurred because we have not defended our Nation from Socialism. For too long we have allowed the wrong people to make the worst possible decisions..
The Bible warns us of class hatred. The Radical leadership of our government daily fans the evil flames of class envy. Our European and Canadian friends beg us to not make the same Socialist mistakes they did.
The President of the European Union warned our President that his Socialist economic plans are taking the World down the "road to Hell." The path to power for Socialists includes taking God and guns from the citizens. Without spiritual and physical protection, people cannot defend themselves and their Liberty . They soon become slaves. We are angered that our President apologizes for the exceptionalism and heroism of the United States of America . We are deeply troubled that he told others the United States is not a Christian nation. We are angered that we have been called cowards and racists because we oppose Socialism.
Socialism is not racial.
Socialism is an equal opportunity destroyer.
We are angered that a recent Department of Homeland Security report has singled out our military men and women who are returning home as being radical threats. The report also characterizes you and me as right-wing extremists and radicals because we favor smaller government and lower taxes.
You and I are average citizens who believe just like most of our fellow Americans. We want our government to leave us alone and to keep its hands off our money, our religion, or guns, our private property, and our lives. We demand that our government stop spending money it does not have.
Stop confiscating our money and private property.
Stop printing money.
Stop subsidizing Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the other failed financial institutions and companies.
Mr.President, stop appointing tax cheats to positions of power and influence.
Mr. President, secure our borders.
Mr. President, do not divert money from our missile defense, F-22 Raptors, and other vital military equipment. This gives encouragement, aid, and comfort to our enemies. Protecting us is your number one job.
Mr. President, do not give voting rights to millions of illegal aliens and felons. You have no more right to create new voters for your benefit than you do to use our money to buy the 2010 and 2012 Elections.
We gather peacefully here today because there is a growing concern for what our government is doing to us and to our future. We fear for the very survival of our Republic. Yet there is much to make us hopeful and to fill our hearts with optimism and courage.
This is still our country!
The Constitution of the Unites States belongs to We the People.. Our Constitution still protects us from our government. Call every possible elected official, including our President, Vice President, and the Speaker of the House. Demand that they stop stealing our money and giving it to ACORN and their other political supporters in order to buy votes. Call Senators Cornyn and Hutchison, and Representative Neugebauer. Thank them. Urge them to do much more. Remind them now is a time for action and not for campaigning. Volunteer to work on our 2010 Census. Confront ACORN.
Keep our Census honest... We must not allow our President to take control of our Census for his political advantage.
We must replace as much of our Far Left Congress as possible in 2010.
Get involved... Do not let the ACORN control our 2010 Election.
Talk with someone every day who does not understand our nation's history and our great heritage. Tell them why the United States is a good and prosperous nation. It still remains that brightly lit city on the hill. It still is the best hope for all mankind. Talk with all of the young people you can find. They are our future. Many do not understand what they have and that their future is being destroyed.
Encourage your elected State officials to pass legislation that will protect us from our Federal government. This is a time for strong peaceful action. Let us pray that We the People can quickly return our government to its Constitutional responsibilities.
Our President and Congress were elected to be our servants and not our masters.
May God help our President and Congress to quickly realize the error of their ways and stop their reckless and unwarranted spending, cut our taxes, and reduce the size of our Federal> bureaucracy.
If they do not, may God grant us the courage and determination to vote them out of power next year.
May God richly bless and protect each of you, and our Constitution, as together we pursue Liberty !

Delivered at the Lubbock , Texas , TEA Party by Dr. Donald May

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. Thomas Jefferson

Frenzy!

A man's man.
An all man man.
An "A" typical man's man.
What are they?
They love fishing.
They love hunting.
They love golfing.
They watch crazy shows on tv.
They are in the ranks of great people like....

Like...
James Murray.
Like..
Phillip 'buckwheat' Miller.
Like..
Jonathan 'catchfish' Beadle. (aka. Golfpro, BowAce, McGiver Jr.)

Yes yes. I know. Famous one and all.

The day leading up to the unofficial Father's day is a bit crazy. The preparations being made as we speak to make sure his rod and reel are up to specs has left my oldest son in a frenzy.
He left his ALL powerful ALL wonderful rod and reel at his Grandparent's lake house. And the fear that he would have to use HIS BROTHER'S mediocre pole has sent him into hysterics.

He can't stand the fact that he is poleless. He has his gear all in check. Told me to make sure to ask the all powerful Master Yoda Murray what bait his mother needs to spring for.

He wants to make sure his cap is clean and ready for his clean cut little head. He is getting his favorite fishing shirt out. And has already gotten his chair, gear and all things fishing ready and waiting at the door.
He is "the most intersting man on the planet"..

Ok Maybe not.

More like He is "The future hunter/fisher/golfer Man's Man"
He is Jonathan Ryan. And he loves him some fishing!!! And turkey sandwiches.

Note to self

"Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to continue to doing the right thing."

~Neil McClendon

It is easier to take the easy way out. It is easier to not stand up for what is right.
It is easier to forget. It is easier to slide back into bad or old behavior. It is not easy to do the right thing. It takes work and it is not fun nor does it make you popular. **sigh**

Draft of "the box"

You think I am here for you pleasure

That I have nothing better

Keeping me like a treasure

Always in your shadow

What can I say that can make you think different

The more I struggle the more your conflict

There is nothing worse than being stepped over

Pushed over and shoved down

Into the hole of control and demand

Always given by your hand

There is more to me than you can stand

You think you have the upper hand

So I sit and wait for the time

For release from the box and your demand

The box is cracking

The box is flimsy

It can't stand the pressure of who I am becoming

The box is failing

The box is more

Empty than you know

Time is only a gift

That grows from the shift

Of power you think you have

Time is all I need to prove

Your shadow is quite meek

And it is fading beyond the heart you think you keep

Safe in the box

That is flimsy and cracked

What more can I do

To show you....

It no longer is

The containment of your control

You no longer have your hold

I am free to light my path

And content to show you that I am free

Free from the box

That can't hold anything but your cost

The cost of control is to prove

You never really had it

And you have lost

What a precious treasure

No longer here for your pleasure

Peace.

calmer than the sky
far away so blue
land of living God
grant your peace on earth
we can feel you move and cannot stay the same
the winds are blowing strong
God of heaven come

breathe peace
breathe your peace on us
so we might breathe you deep

breathe peace
breathe your peace on us
land of the living God

if we are in the way
move us to the side
God forgive our wrongs
rest your hands on us
all the world is yours
let us not forget
it was you who bore the cross
God of comfort breathe

breathe peace
breathe your peace on us
so we might breathe you deep

breathe peace
breathe your peace on us
land of the living God

If there is anything that I think I need right now it would be peace. I am so reved up and so tired that I don't know what to do with myself. It is a wonderful feeling and scary. I love that God has me here. And I love the feeling of Him right there. His warm hand on my back. And I don't want to leave it. I truly feel comfort. And I would like to say there is no anxiousness but there is. I am.
For whatever reason. And I can't quite pinpoint why or where. I just want to continue receiving OVERWHELMING peace.

Note to self

"Stop fearing-There are good God things to come.
There are No surprises to Him.
His plan NOT mine......
There is no reason to Fear
He is with me
No matter where I go
How long the road is or How high the mountain
How far I fall or How long I run
I merely have to turn and HE ...
The redeeming, rescuing One
Is there to catch me"

BrianWelch

I listen to rock music. A LOT.
I don't listen to 89.3 b/c they play the same song over and over.
And I like other music.
I like rock.
Metal.
and so on.

This morning on the way into work I was listening to The Buzz.
And I know it tends to have ify stories but sometimes they are funny. And say dumb things.
This morning they had Brian Welch on.

Do you know who Brian Welch is?
He was a member of the band Korn.
He was a massive Alcoholic and Drug Addict.
He found the end of himself.
Got clean.
And was REDEEMED.
You know what I am saying.
God Saved Him!
He wrote a book.
"Save me from myself"
And when I am done reading my other book. I am moving on to that one.
He was on. Talking about. How Jesus saved him.
How with God he does not desire drugs.
How b/c of his NEW LIFE. He is free.
I was shocked that the dj's were just in awe of his words. And even more shock they were giving him such freedom to say exactly what was up in his life. They even let a listener talk to him that was changed by his story. And the guy said. "Since I gave my life to Jesus. Everything has changed. My life. My desires. I am free" and b/c I saw you do it. I thought. If Brian can I can.

WOW!
He was like .. Dude. Keep up the good work. And was just honest and so really.

He is speaking at Salem Lutheran Church this weekend.
What a story.

Yes. Yes and Amen.

Billy Graham's Prayer For Our Nation

'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgivenessand to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. Wehave lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded lazinessand called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglectedto discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have pollute d the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free. Amen!'
