Time wears away
All the pleasure of the day
All the treasures you could hold
Days turn to sand
Losing strength in every hand
They can't hold you anymore
Already dead to me now
Cuz it feels like I'm watching something die
Love looks away
In the harsh light of the day
on the edge of nothing more
Days fade to balck
In the light of what they lack
Nothing's measured by what it needs
Already dead to me now
Cuz it feels like I'm watching something die
If only the love that has lost saw what was to be
Could it have changed what the heart dreamed it wanted to see
Seen only as dark light to those around
All I could do was see the love that could be found
No emotion can be felt thru the nothingness of the words
Is that the truth that is plain to all but me
Already dead to me now
Cuz it feels like I'm watching something die
My head knows what the heart want
And yet denies it all for the presence of life
It can not be no matter how much it hurts
I will have to learn to live without
What I thought was true love at last
How could I have known it was a mere repeat. ..
of the past
So Love must look away to keep itself safe
To bad it did not see what must and has to be
The heart longs to love and longs to be free
Already dead to me now
Cuz it feels like I'm watching something die
